Australia’s food labels are altering and we’re here to tell you all you need to know all about the changes.

The packaging will be clearer about where our products are produced, grown and made.

The new food packaging will also show how much percentage of the ingredients in the product come from Australia.

This percentage is shown in the bar chart that is pictured, the more the bar is filled in yellow, the more percentage of that product is Australian.

As it stands now, our food products are labelled as ‘made in’ or ‘product of’ which has left many consumers confused as to where the products are actually coming from. This new packaging is clear and easy to read and could change the way people buy food.

Cookies and Cream Extravaganza!

· 1 cup milk

· 2 scoops cookies n cream ice cream

· Ice

Mix together in a blender, pour into a mason jar (obviously) and add:

· Crushed and whole Oreos

· Whipped cream

· Chocolate sprinkles

· Wafer sticks

· Minimelts Cookies and Cream ice cream.

Rainbow Magic

· 1 cup milk

· 2 scoops rainbow ice cream

· Ice

Blend ingredients together, pour into a mason jar and top off with:

· Whipped cream

· M&Ms

· Rainbow sprinkles

· Minimelts Rainbow with Marshmallow clouds ice cream.

Choc Chip Cookie

· 1 cup milk

· 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

· Ice

Blend together, pour into a large glass and add:

· Crushes and whole chocolate chip cookies of your choice

This is not photoshop or a trick of the eye, this is a real lake in Western Australia. The secret to the creamy ice cream is all in the rapid freezing of the mixture.
